Aesthetic Medicine Clinic

Warsaw, 120 sqm

Advanced treatments, innovative methods, and the highest quality of care for patients – all of this called for an architectural setting of equally high standard. In collaboration with the owners of the aesthetic medicine clinic, we decided to draw on an aesthetic in which the classical character of the interiors pleasantly balances the modern forms of the essential equipment.

The welcoming atmosphere is created by elements reminiscent of 19th-century townhouses – a French herringbone parquet, wall stucco, and carefully crafted woodwork to match. Natural wood meets stone in the form of large-format slabs and massive blocks (including the reception desk and pedestals for sculptures). Serving as jewelry for the interiors are not only brass handles and furniture fittings, but also a decorative screen inspired by Art Deco.

The bathroom design directly references the luxury hotels of a century or more ago. This deliberate choice is meant to evoke pleasant emotions in patients – akin to the feeling of being on holiday at a resort. Elsewhere, the necessary element of contrast is introduced through post-war design pieces (such as an Italian sofa in the reception area) and entirely contemporary design, from small furnishings to a decorative blown-glass mirror.

At the request of the investors, the refined and elegant interiors gained a counterpoint in the form of a green wall. In this way, a modern take on classic style meets the principles of biophilic design.
