This is not a typical bathroom — because it’s my bathroom.
I deliberately stepped away from trends. Instead, I focused on a quiet dialogue between past and present.
It all started with material. Natural Calacatta Lilac marble, with its painterly veining. Each slab was cut and composed so every piece becomes its own frame — somewhere between abstraction and controlled randomness. A kind of negative Pollock, shaped by nature.
Burr veneer appears here in a contemporary ALPI version, almost graphic. Inside, cabinets reveal aquamarine — a subtle, private accent.
The mirror and tray are by Matty Sipiora, with the mirror designed together as a unique, one-off piece. On the countertop, two “Karolinki” from my collection — Polish PRL glass, simple and honest.
On the wall, a clock by George Nelson — a restrained retro note I always return to.
This interior isn’t about trends. It’s about being personal.
