This interior project is built around colour, material, and contrast, approached without literal gestures or decorative excess. The goal was to create a warm, sensual, and layered space, where individual elements remain in constant dialogue with one another.
The living room is defined by deep cobalt tones paired with California burl veneer. The natural, unpredictable grain of the wood becomes an active part of the composition rather than a background element. Finishes play a crucial role here: matte and glossy, smooth and textured, soft and hard surfaces interact to give the space rhythm and depth, preventing it from feeling flat or static.
The bedroom is designed in a warm, calming palette with a subtle reference to mid-century aesthetics. Proportions, light, and materials work together to create a sense of balance and quiet comfort. It’s an interior that doesn’t seek attention, but instead offers timelessness and ease.
The bathroom is the most expressive part of the project. Glossy burgundy tiles with a slightly rustic character set the tone, combined with burr wood in a contemporary interpretation. Calacatta Viola completes the composition, its burgundy veining naturally echoing the colour scheme. The floor features a classic Warsaw mosaic pattern known as gorset, referencing local tradition and context.
The entire project is driven by a conscious layering of textures, colours, and materials. The focus is not on visual effect alone, but on creating an atmosphere that feels coherent, tactile, and lasting.
