Even the smallest spaces deserve meticulous attention to detail. This also applies to this Warsaw apartment, used by its owners during business trips and weekend stays in the capital. Despite its compact size (65 m²), the layout includes a generous living area with a kitchen, dining space, and lounge zone, as well as two bedrooms—one main and one guest. Reflecting the owners’ taste, the interiors combine classic motifs with a bold, modern interpretation.
Traditional and contemporary elements intertwine in an eclectic composition full of rich materials, patterns, textures, and crafted details. Every choice was made to bring sensory pleasure during short visits—the expressive wall moldings, French herringbone oak flooring, Calacatta Viola marble in multiple applications, and soft fabrics such as velvet, chenille, and jacquard. A wall of antiqued mirrors, a timeless decorative device, visually doubles the space of the living room.
One of the apartment’s most distinctive features is the blue bedroom. The muted, cloud-like shade of light blue envelops both the walls and the ceiling, including the moldings. Interestingly, it feels almost warm—especially under the soft glow of the lamps. The classical architectural setting and built-in furniture contrast beautifully with the organic, fluid form of the bed, which seems to gently cradle the sleeper. The small guest room has also attracted much attention. Despite its limited size, it accommodates a bed and a dressing table-desk, while a forest mural inspired by an old engraving gives it a sense of depth and serenity.
