Open House. Weekend Villa

Suburbs of Warsaw, 280 sqm

The property overlooking the Narwia River is a space for relaxation and entertainment. Behind the glass walls of the living areas on the ground floor and the five bedrooms on the upper floor, there is a mesmerizing view of the river. The sun-drenched waves can also be admired from the bathtub, and when the weather permits, it is even more enjoyable to splash in the garden pool. The interior design process began shortly after the premiere of Pani Jurek’s TRN lamps, and in a sense, the entire project revolves around them, visible today above the dining table. The villa’s purpose as a place for rest and recreation is evident through various characteristic features, especially in the lower part of the house. These features include a huge projection screen that unfolds from a cassette built into the ceiling above the living room, and three refrigerators in the kitchen, essential for larger gatherings. In the small bathroom, we also applied several optical corrections to improve the proportions of the compact and narrow but very tall space. On the other hand, we strived to align the design of the upper floor with the captivating landscapes, ensuring that the interiors still presented themselves impressively even when the weather is not ideal. It is during those moments that the design captures attention.
